How Romanticism Has Diminish Throughout Popularity

My part starts by talking about how romanticism had diminish in popularity. The book talks about how drama was in a period of conflict, in which serious romantics wanted Art to target a sensitive audience making it more limited. In contrast, extremist wanted to created closet drama which means that they wanted plays to be read instead of been acted. By 1840s romanticism was no longer a movement and even though it had effectively ended with neoclassicism it did not changed theatre completely.
